Owners Nola and George Fletcher have brought to the development many years of their experience of travel, working and staying in high class accommodation within Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Former Soviet Union and the USA. Thereby brining their knowledge of quality, services and experience of the international and local business travelers and discerning Tourist needs to the forefront. Standing alone in the middle of undulating fields of wheat, green vineyards and flowering yellow canola, lies the old town of Piketberg. The town established in 1842 is situated on the N7 Highway (to Namibia) a mere 130km north of Cape Town, is a place waiting for discovery. In spring, its time to marvel at what all the winter rains have given rise to: the annual explosion of spring flowers drawing tourists from across the globe to take in the swathes of colour that carpet the Western Cape. Behind the old town is Piquet mountain and the hand carved Versveld pass leading up to expansive fruit and protea farms and rooibos tea growing areas. Today the grand old lady of Piketberg is back to her former glory offering local and international guests a unique accommodation, dining, relaxation and retail therapy experience.
